I am 73 years old and I would like to make a difference for others in this life by sharing my stories and the impact God has made in my life. I took in people who were homeless in the last few months since my husband Jim passed away. Bonnie who has stage three cancer and her friend who has problems that have stemmed from his past and how others abused him at a young age. His name is Chris and he has been rejected by society. My heart went out to him because of his inability to make decisions for himself and how the impact of others has considered him as an outcast. When he is on his medicines he does very well psychologically but still needs someone to take care of him and watch after to him.
If you are a Senior commit your life to the Lord and say, “I Surrender all to Jesus”. Make a definite decision this day to ask the Lord, “What would you have me to do, Dear Lord”? Even if it even means making a telephone call to someone who is lonely or doesn’t have family or friends. There’s different ways to make a difference in ones life.
With that being said, Remember God loves even the worst sinner or even one who thinks he is good by just simply trying to do good. It takes Jesus to make the difference for us in this life and others as well.
