It’s good to be able to reach out to you who feel isolated or even useless at times. I do believe people in general want to be needed or useful, when one feels empty and alone but in reality we are never alone. We have one who sticks closer than a brother…
His name is Jesus and as you reach out to Him and tell him your desires, His desires for you become your desires as well.
I watched a movie recently that was called Everything I AM. It was about this Christian girl who took in the homeless and who was helping in a soup kitchen helping the poor by feeding them. She had found her calling and her purpose in this life. By reaching out to others, she said, “Jesus was her everything and was content with her life” She had found her purpose.
I too recently took in a woman who’s name is Bonnie since my husband passed away in 2024. She was homeless, living in her car with stage three cancer in her lungs and COPD. Going from place to place, hoping and praying for someone to come into her life to help her. Bonnie died in her car and lost all consciousness because loss of oxygen. They rushed her to ICU and she stayed there for a few days until she was stable. After being released I told her that she could come and stay with me. I am now her caregiver and a friend to her. Something so, very much needed. Bonnie is doing some better now and is able to help others herself now by transporting them from place to place in her car when needed. Her disease is progressive but now she has a warm bed to sleep in and a home she can call her own.
With more to tell in my next blog I will mention about a young man named Chris who has now come into the picture because of Bonnie.
My prayer is someday I will be able to have a huge enough building to take the homeless in by calling it: Room at the Inn, JC Foundation. If that is in God’s plan, I so desire it.
One of my Mom’s favorite sayings was “Bloom Where You are Planted”
So, if one can do that through just starting with the little things in life to help others even by making a telephone call every now and then to someone who may be hurting or just needs a friend. “Even if you give a glass of cold water to one of these little ones, in a disciples name, you will in no wise lose your reward.” Matthew 10:42
So, give it some thought—What’s my purpose in life? Ask, and you shall receive—through Jesus.
Thank you for stopping by. Make yourself at home.

A Poem to Ponder On
A Friend Loves at All Times
In Jesus I find…
One who is faithful and kind.
A friend loves at all times.
He is one you can trust…
There is no other like Jesus.
A friend loves at all times.
A friend that sticks closer than a brother…
We need not look any further.
A friend loves at all times.
What must we do?..
To be accepted into His fold for me and you?
Jesus forgives when we ask Him to.
Then He claims us as His own…
Because He has shown.
A Friend loves at all times.
Proverbs 17:17
Proverbs 18:24
